The city of Yorkton is expanding the new Business Improvement Incentive program. Now, businesses in Yorkton, whose ownership resides in the rural municipalities surrounding the city, will be allowed to apply for the program. Mayor Mitch Hippsley states that the original criteria was only for ownership who resided in the city’s limits. So far, the city has received six or seven applications for the program.
