Teenager Arrested in Connection to September Drug Bust Will Have Matters Heard in Court Next Week

A new court date has been set for one of three Yorkton residents, arrested in connection with a drug bust in the city.

On September 13th, Yorkton Mounties raided a home, and seized a significant quantity of fentanyl.

In Regina Provincial Court yesterday (TUES), the matters for 18-year-old Myia Tovee were adjourned to next Tuesday (Feb. 9)

Her co-accused, 52-year-old Leon Keshane, will be back in Yorkton Court next Monday (Feb. 8), while the third person charged, 42-year old Christy McLean, was sentenced to jail time last month, after pleading guilty to Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
