Canadian Beef Packaging Could Soon Include QR Codes

Canada Beef is working on QR codes for all beef cuts, in an effort to provide more on-the-spot information to consumers. When the QR code is read on a smartphone, it will provide recipe suggestions, quick cooking videos, and nutritional information. Canada Beef President Michael Young expects the QR codes will be especially popular with younger consumers
