Bowsman Man Pleads Guilty To Eight Charges From Rideau Hall Incident

The Bowsman, Manitoba man accused of ramming through a gate at Rideau Hall while heavily armed, has entered a guilty plea..
Corey Hurren appeared in Ottawa this morning, where he admitted to seven weapon-related charges, and one count of mischief.
A sentencing hearing has been set for February 23rd.

The 46-year-old faced 21 weapons charges and one charge of threatening Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

It was alleged that on July 2nd, Hurren drove a truck onto the grounds of the official residence, and set out on foot toward the prime minister’s home, at Rideau Cottage.
