An increase of 20.8-million dollars has been provided to Manitoba public schools, bringing the total funding to 1.35-billion dollars. An additional 6.7-million dollars will go towards base funding for public schools, while special needs funding will receive an additional 5.5-million dollars. Manitoba will now have the third-highest spending per student, behind Saskatchewan and New Brunswick.
