A New Benchmark For Natural Gas Usage Made in Sask.

Not surprising with the recent cold snap, a new natural gas consumption record was set today (Tues).

SaskEnergy says 1.57 petajoules was used over a 24-hour period between 9 a.m. yesterday (Mon) and 9 a.m. today.

That breaks the previous benchmark of 1.55 petajoules set on January 15, 2020.

SaskEnergy says for the 8th winter in a row, the record for natural gas usage has been matched or exceeded.
