SaskEnergy Extending Carbon Monoxide Alarm Rebate to March

Saskatchewan residents still have an opportunity to save some money from purchasing a carbon monoxide alarm.

SaskEnergy is extending its 10 dollar rebate on CO alarms to March 31st.

Spokeswoman Casey MacLeod says it started last November and was supposed to wrap up January 31st, however, it was extended because more than 5-thousand alarms were bought in the first month of the rebate’s existence.

She says getting one is extremely important because they can detect the presence of carbon monoxide before the first onset of symptoms are present, which are described as flu-like symptoms.

A list of participating retail stores is available on the SaskEnergy website.
