Legacy Co-op has made a major donation to the Churchbridge Fire Department to support the purchase of new safety equipment.

The ten-thousand-dollar cheque will be put toward the purchase of a new self-contained breathing apparatus.

The volunteer fire department in Churchbridge gets its money for equipment and operations, from municipal budgets and fundraising.

They serve the towns of Churchbridge and Calder, along with the Rural Municipality of Churchbridge and neighbouring R.M.’s.
