Yorkton and area residents looking to be tested for COVID-19 take note.

Due to the brutally cold weather, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has opted to close the drive-thru testing site, located at 276 Myrtle Avenue, for today (THURS).

The SHA expects to re-open the facility tomorrow (FRI), and advise the public to watch for updates.

Today’s closure only affects non-booked appointments, and anyone seeking a COVID test in the meantime, is advised to call 811, to be referred to the testing and assessment centre.
