Kamsack-Area Man Imprisoned for Fatal Vehicle/ Pedestrian Collision

A Kamsack-area man has admitted his guilt, in connection with a fatal vehicle/ pedestrian collision.

Last August, Kamsack RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 8, near the Keeseekoose First Nation.

A 23-year-old man from the Kamsack/ Cote First Nation area was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Kamsack Provincial Court today (Tue), 29-year-old Lewis Strongquill pled guilty to Driving While Over .08 Causing Death, and he was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by a three-year driving prohibition.
