Prairie Mountain RCMP are investigating a fatal single vehicle accident.

Last night (Mon) a vehicle was travelling west-bound on Highway 41, entering St. Lazare.

The 58-year-old male driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.

The driver was transported to hospital where he was declared deceased.

Alcohol is not a factor in the collision, and the deceased was wearing a seatbelt.
