Health Canada has approved the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine for national use in people 18 and over, including seniors.

Canada is to get 20-million doses of the shot, which is administered in two doses, between April and September.

It’s the third COVID-19 vaccine given the green light by Canada, following those from Pfizer and Moderna.
