The ongoing pandemic didn’t stop people from ringing the phones at Telemiracle 45 this weekend. Even though the event was held on line, Saskatchewan residents pledged more this year than last. Over $5.6 million was raised this past weekend, just eclipsing the $5.5 million last year. The Kinsmen Club of Sturgis kicked in over $18 thousand, while the Kinsmen of Yorkton raised about $37 thousand. Since it began, Telemiracle has raised more than $145 million for the people of Saskatchewan requiring special needs equipment to maintain or improve their quality of life.
