A livestock auction mart that serves southeast Saskatchewan and southwest Manitoba has gone up in flames and smoke. The Pipestone Auction Mart in Manitoba was pretty much destroyed in last night’s conflagration, but no human or animal lives were lost. The cause is under investigation, and pictures on social media show flames coming from some of the buildings, and some of the pens as well.
