The Melville Millionaires Junior A Hockey Club did not submit a plan to use the ice at the Horizon Credit Union Centre by the City Council imposed deadline of February 22nd. Director of Community Works Chris Bruce says this is mainly due to the current public health restrictions, but did say he remains in talks with the hockey team about what could be done should the SJHL season. Bruce says the arena will continue to operate as normal with the ice scheduled to come out around April 15th.
