Health Care Money Tops Talk At A Federal-Provincial Meeting

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe joined his counterparts today in a call for more healthcare money from the federal government in the next budget. Right now, the federal government covers around 22 percent of healthcare costs, but the premiers want to see that increased to 35 percent or an additional 28 billion dollars. The provinces currently cover about 80 percent of healthcare costs, and Moe says Canadians deserve better from the federal government on such an important issue.
