Varying Moisture Conditions Expected From Spring Runoff In Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency has updated its spring runoff report for March.

Spokesman Patrick Boyle says there’s little concern for flooding.

“Varying conditions across many different parts of the province but really for the most part the southern part of Saskatchewan will be in the below normal to well below normal category.” he said.

“You know generally we’re going to be below normal in most portions and then looking at fairly dry conditions in that Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, down to Val Marie, Coronach area.” he added.

Melville and Broadview can expect well below normal runoff, while Yorkton and Wynyard are listed in the below normal category.
