A human skull was found in a field in the R.M. of Morris, in the Watrous RCMP detachment area.
RCMP say they received a complaint about it February 28th by people looking for shed antlers.
An autopsy was done March 3rd and it was determined the individual was likely female between 25 and 35-years-old, but do not appear to be historical in nature.
Mounties say at this time, it has not been confirmed whether the person’s death is considered suspicious, but continue to investigate.
