Portage la Prairie Man in Court on Drug Charges in Connection to Traffic Stop in The Pas

Another court appearance for a Portage la Prairie man charged following a traffic stop in The Pas earlier this month, that led to drug charges.

RCMP say on March 3rd, a check of the suspect vehicle revealed it was unregistered, and the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle admitted to not having his driver’s license with him.

After noticing a beer can in the middle console, a further search turned up a large plastic bag of cannabis, several bags of what’s believed to be crystal meth, cocaine and heroine, a large sum of cash and drug paraphernalia.

34-year-old Henry Johnathon Jackson remains in custody, and will be back in The Pas Court on April 15th.
