Swan River Man Heading to Trial on Second Degree Murder Charge

Another court appearance has been made by a Swan River man, accused of a homicide in that town.

32-year-old Tyler Brass was in Dauphin yesterday (Mon) on a charge of Second Degree Murder, and was remanded in custody for his trial, starting May 3rd.

In January of 2019, Mounties were called to a report of a stabbing at a home on Fifth Avenue South.

39-year-old Christopher Chartrand of Swan River was located inside, and EMT’s pronounced him dead at the scene.
