Bench Warrant Issued For Grenfell Man After Missing Scheduled Court Date

An update on the case of a Grenfell man arrested in Regina, following an incident involving a truck with a stolen licence plate.

On January 8th, Regina Police pulled up behind a truck in an alley, and noticed the driver slumped behind the wheel.

When the police vehicle approached, the truck took off, and a short pursuit began, with officers stopping the vehicle and arresting the suspect about 15 minutes later.

40-year-old Devin Ginnis faces charges including Flight From Police and Dangerous Driving, and he missed his scheduled court date yesterday (THURS), resulting in the judge issuing a bench warrant.
