Punnichy RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a Muskowekwan First Nation man, wanted in connection with an alleged assault in that community earlier this week.

Mounties say it happened between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. on Monday (22nd), at a home on the reserve, when a man and woman got into an altercation, leaving the woman with serious injuries, while the man fled the premises.

38-year-old Lindsay Charles Hunter is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Driving While Prohibited.

He is described as being 6’3″ tall, weighing about 185 pounds, with a slim build, short black hair, brown eyes, and a scar on his right cheek.

He is believed to be in either Muskowekwan or Regina, and police say he should not be approached if seen.
