The Saskatchewan Health Authority is alerting the public about the increased presence of COVID-19 in the Whitewood area.
The SHA reminds folks in the area to use proper preventative measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, such as mask use, physical distancing, washing your hands often, and staying home if you have symptoms of COVID.
The Health Authority is also raising restrictions for patient visits at the Whitewood Community Health Centre to level 3.
This means a care team approves only one family member or support person to be with a patient who needs end-of-life care.
Family members and support people will need to complete a questionnaire and have their temperature check prior to entering the facility.
