**The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) has announced the launch of a spring development program geared towards current MJHL Players located in Manitoba that began on Tuesday.

The spring development program will provide MJHL players the opportunity to return to the ice in a safe, structured and sensible manner with a strong focus on fun and development.

The program will consist of 12-16 on-ice development sessions per group throughout April and into May with groups operating separately in Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie and Virden.

The MJHL will continue to monitor and adjust to public health orders

Melville Minor Ball has extended their registration deadline to now April 14th.

They will be holding a COVID-safe registration night next Wednesday rom 6PM to 8PM at the Minor ball clubhouse.

** The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is proud to announce that the kick-off of the Best in Sask. Circuit Series starting on April 16th.

The Series will be an esports gaming tournament with 3 rounds, after which the best NHL 21 player in Saskatchewan will be crowned.

Registration for the event will begin today (Mon) and will remain open for one week with only 72 entrants into the tournament, with each contestant paying a $20 entry fee.

Contestants can register and pay in the SJHL online store or online at www.sjhl.ca

The MJHL’s OCN Blizzard are looking for a new Athletic Therpaist/Equipment for the 2021/22 season, with the job beginning on August 15th.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication and organization skills as well as be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualified Candidates are invited to submit their resume with references and cover letter to [email protected]

Deadline to apply is April 15th

**The City of Melville’s Youth Soccer Program is taking in registrations for the 2021 season.

The program will tentatively run from May 3rd to June 28th with times and locations to be determined.

It’s open for the Under 4, Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 divisions.

They’ll not accept any payment until they’re certain that soccer can go ahead.

To register, go online to the City of Melville website at www.melville.ca or contact the Rec Office at 306-728-6860.

Registration deadline is set for April 15th at 4PM.

**The Prep Baseball Report will be in Saskatoon to evaluate and promote players to their college baseball programs.

The dates of their camp will be April 20th and April 21st at the Gordie Howe Training Center.

Local players that will be graduating between 2021 and 2025 are eligible to take part in the two-day camp.
