The Saskatchewan government will be bringing back the Active Families Benefit.
The benefit provides families with an annual income of less than 60-thousand dollars, up to $150 per child per year, or $200 for children who are eligible for the federal Child Disability Tax Credit.
The benefit is expected to help over 20-thousand families at an investment of 4-million dollars.
The investment is part of the 2021/22 budget, and will be available for parents who enroll their children in sport, culture and recreation activities in the 2021 calendar year.
