Manitoba Introduces Accessibility Fund to Enhance Quality of Life for Residents with Disabilities

Manitobans with disabilities received a boost to enhance their quality of life by the provincial government.

In a news release, Families Minister Rochelle Squires introduced a new 20-million dollar Manitoba Accessibility Fund to help eliminate barriers to their services.

Squires notes that the investment will enable businesses, municipalities and organizations to makes changes needed to ensure their services are easily available to all Manitobans.

Applications for Manitoba Accessibility Fund grants are expected to open in the spring of 2022.
