Swan River RCMP are investigating a robbery in the town.

At about 3 o’clock Thursday morning, a male and a female driving in a white S-U-V were stopped at a stop sign on 1st Street North and 9th Avenue North.

Several people approached the vehicle, pulled the occupants out, assaulted them, stole some items, and fled.

The victims were treated and released from hospital.
