An Ottawa man has been sentenced, after a conviction of four historic sex charges in Wynyard and Foam Lake.

In Yorkton today (Fri), Gerard Loehr received a total of 21 months in jail, must provide a DNA sample, and will be placed on the Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life.

In February of 2019, a woman contacted Wynyard RCMP to file a report of sexual assault, dating back to between 1990 and 1996, when Loehr was a teacher in the area.

Then, five other individuals came forward with allegations against the same man.
