Dauphin RCMP is investigating a possible case of arson in Gilbert Plains.

Mounties received a report of a fire at an abandoned building on Main Street in Gilbert Plains early yesterday (Tues) morning.

Once the fire was extinguished, officers were told that the fire was believed to have been set on purpose, and no one was injured.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Dauphin RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
