A sentencing date has been set for a former Minneapolis police officer convicted in the murder of George Floyd.
June 16th is when Derek Chauvin will learn his fate.
On Tuesday, a jury found Chauvin guilty of all the charges he faced: second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
On May 25, 2020, Floyd died while being restrained by police, after a call was made of an individual paying with a counterfeit bill at a convenience store in Minneapolis.
