Police have laid charges and seized a significant amount of illicit and controlled substances during a recent drug bust.
On Monday (Apr. 26), Saskatoon police pulled over a vehicle outside of the city on Highway 7, near Township Road 340, where the male driver was found to be in possession of meth, fentanyl, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Two search warrant were then executed at homes in Bjorkdale and Saskatoon, where more meth, drug paraphernalia, hydromorphone, ketamine and firearms were seized.
53-year-old Rudi Betthel, of Bjorkdale, and 39-year-old Tricia Karpluk, of Saskatoon, are facing multiple drug and firearm-related offences and have appeared in Saskatoon court today (Wed).
