Dauphin RCMP have made an arrest in connection with a robbery in that city.

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, a male entered a store on Main Street South, sprayed the employee with bear mace, stole some items, and fled on foot.

Mounties were able to locate the suspect a short time later and arrested him without incident, in possession of bear spray.

30-year-old Sean Beaulieu made his first court appearance yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody for May 11th.
