One person is dead and another was injured, following a single-vehicle rollover Thursday near Langenburg.

Esterhazy RCMP were called to the scene, on Highway #8 south of Langenburg, around 4 p.m., and the initiial investigation indicates a southbound vehicle rolled, after leaving the highway.

A 17-year-old girl from Wapella was pronounced dead at the scene, while another 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital, and there is no word at this time, on the extent of her injuries.

The victim’s name has not been released, and the investigation continues.
