New Court Dates Made for Four People Accused of Break, Enter and Assault at a Cote First Nation Home

Three of four people charged in connection with a violent incident on the Cote First Nation, were back in court today (Tue).

Kamsack RCMP say in the early morning hours of May 2nd, they were called to a home on the reserve, on a report of a violent break, enter and assault, and upon arrival, they found a man who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

18-year-old Sidney Rogers, 18-year-old Jamie Quewezance, and 19-year-old Phoenix Shingoose, were all remanded in custody to next Tuesday.

Their co-accused, a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, will return to court that same day.
