Current Fire Bans As of May 14, 2021

CURRENT LOCAL FIRE BANS (as of May 14/21)
–A fire ban is in effect for the R.M.s of Wallace and Orkney and the City of Yorkton. The City of Yorkton ban applies to outdoor fire pits between the hours of 11pm and 11am. This ban does not include the use of propane or charcoal cooking appliances. This ban will remain in effect until adequate moisture and humidity levels are present.
–A fire ban has been issued for the R.M. of Rocanville #151. It’s in effect immediately and until further notice.
— A fire ban is in effect in the R.M. of Sliding Hills #273 until further notice.
— The R.M. of Good Lake #274 has issued a fire ban, effective immediately, and will remain in effect until further notice.
— Effective immediately, there is a fire ban in place in the R.M. of Insinger #275, until further notice.
— A complete fire ban is in effect in the R.M. of St. Phillips #301, from May 1st to May 31st.
— Due to dry conditions and high fire hazard levels, the R.M. of Foam Lake #276 has issued a complete fire ban, which will remain in effect until further notice.  For more information, call the R.M. office, at 1 (306) 272-3334, or email [email protected].
— Due to dry conditions and high fire hazard levels, the R.M. of Ituna Bon Accord #246 has issued a partial fire ban.  This ban includes all controlled burns, incinerators, burning barrels and fireworks.  The only exceptions are solid fuel, propane or natural gas barbecues, and recreational campfires.  For more information, call the R.M. office, at 1 (306) 795-2202, or email [email protected].
–The R.M. of Tullymet #216 has issued a Level 2 Fire Ban, effective immediately. This ban includes all controlled burns, incinerators, burning barrels and fireworks.

— R.M. of Cote No. 271 has placed a fire ban in the municipality effective immediately.

–The R-M of Hazel Dell #335 has implemented a fire ban, effective immediately.
— Effective immediately, a burn ban will be in effect for the entire Municipality of Roblin.  That means no burning of crops, grass, leaves, garbage, or fireworks.  No fires in burning barrels.  All permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new permits will be issued until further notice.  Fires that are set in an outdoor fire pit or solid fuel burning appliance will be allowed and must be enclosed on all sides, covered with a non-combustible grate or mesh, and located on a non-combustible base clear of overhangs.  Propane fire pits/barbecues are permitted.
— R.M of Livingston #331 has put a fire ban in place, effective immedately.
–A fire ban is in effect for the RM of Preeceville #334, the RM of Buchanan #304, the RM of Keys #303, town of Sturgis, village of Buchanan, village of Endeavour and all communities within the RMs.
–A fire ban is in effect for the R.M. of Clayton #333. All fires in the RM must be extinguished immediately.
–The RM of Riding Mountain West in Manitoba has a fire ban in effect.
–The RM of Invermay #305 has imposed a fire ban, effective immediately.
The RM of Kelvington No. 366 and the Town of Kelvington have implemented fire bans, effective immediately
