The man leading Canada’s vaccine distribution campaign is no longer in that role.

In a statement from the Department of National Defence, Major-General Dany Fortin is now the subject of a military investigation, though what he is accused of is not known at this time.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed Fortin to be the lead of vaccine logistics at the Public Health Agency of Canada last fall.
