As Yorkton residents continue to clean up the damage caused by the ice storm that hit the city and much of eastern Saskatchewan, the City of Yorkton is helping with the clean-up.

In a notice posted on their Facebook page, the city has announced that any downed trees and branches from the ice storm can be taken to the landfill today (Saturday, May 22, 2021), free of charge, between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

However, please note that the landfill will be closed tomorrow (SUN) and Monday, for the Victoria Day long weekend.
