SaskPower says as of 7:30 p.m. Sunday, an estimated 20 customers in the City of Melville will be without power due to a combination of damage on the premises too severe to fix at this time and crews having difficulty reaching customers to obtain consent to issue a temporary repair.
However, crews were able to restore power to the entire Pasqua district, as well as the rural area around Yorkton and the Canora area Sunday afternoon.
“Our crews have made significant progress today, restoring Distribution lines and completing temporary reconnects to properties with damaged secondary service lines and service masts.” SaskPower said in Sunday evening’s update.
If any customers are without power, call the Outage Centre at 310-2220.
SaskPower has been steadily working to get all power services restored after Thursday’s ice storm, affecting the Eastern and Southeastern portions of the province.
