New Court Date Made for Man Facing Charges from 2017 Drug and Weapon Bust on George Gordon’s First Nation

Another adjournment in the case of a man committed to stand trial, on charges stemming from a June 2017 drug and weapons bust on the George Gordon’s First Nation.

29-year-old Cody Gordon faces one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, and his next appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, is set for June 18th.

In June of 2017, Mounties raided a home on the reserve, seizing a loaded rifle, knives, over seven-hundred rounds of ammunition, and a small amount of crystal meth.

Gordon is also committed to stand trial in Regina QB from February 28th to March 15th of next year, for First Degree Murder, in connection with the September 2016 death of former Yorkton resident Mackenzie Keshane.
