A search is on for a male suspect in connection to an attempted abduction in Yorkton.
Yorkton RCMP say a girl was walking near the railroad tracks on Darlington Avenue, east of Victoria Avenue, yesterday morning (Wed) before 9 a.m.
Then, an unknown man got out of a truck and grabbed the girl by the elbow, but the girl got away from the man’s grasp and ran 2 blocks to a high school.
School officials altered the RCMP of the incident around noon that day.
The suspect is described as approximately 6-feet tall with dark brown/black and grey hair and was driving a grey or tan coloured pickup truck.
