Manitoba’s Legislative Session Ends

Manitoba’s Spring Legislative session has come to a close. Over 65 bills were passed which included modernizing the child-care system, providing more than 248-million dollars in rebate to Manitoba property owners, and increasing health-care funding by 156-million dollars. Premier Brian Pallister says the session had one of the most robust and ambitious agendas in Manitoba’s history. Other bills include a 1.1-billion dollar committment for PPE, vaccine deployment, education support and future needs.
