The mystery of the missing windmill near Vibank has been solved. RCMP say the 41-foot-tall, one-hundred-year-old steel structure was reported stolen on May 19th, and a member of the Indian Head detachment sent out a request for information related to the windmill’s disappearance, on the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory. A day and three tips later, and the mystery was solved. Mounties say the windmill was not stolen, but rather the victim of a non-criminal misunderstanding, and all parties involved are working to get it back to its rightful home.
