The final trip of a fallen RCMP officer took place Tuesday

RCMP employees across Saskatchewan paid tribute to slain officer, Constable Shelby Patton.

Patton died on Saturday in Wolseley, while investigating a complaint of a stolen vehicle.

RCMP employees are wearing red to honour their fallen colleague, and encourage the public to do the same.

Also this morning (Tue), members of the Indian Head RCMP detachment escorted the body of Constable Patton from Regina to Wolseley, as Patton’s final trip to the town.

The procession also passed the Saskatchewan RCMP Headquarters building in Regina.
