A former Yorkton man charged with Manslaughter, in connection with the death of a one-year-old girl in Regina, has appeared in court again. 20-year-old Bailey Peepeetch was originally arrested for Aggravated Assault on October 7th, but the charge was upgraded when the girl died two days later. Regina Police say the investigation began when they were called to a hospital for a report of a critically injured child, and that the injuries were suspected to be the result of physical abuse. Peepeetch appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday, where his matter was adjourned to June 30th.
