One of two Winnipeg residents, accused of killing an RCMP officer with a stolen vehicle, has a new court date.
42-year-old Marlene Pagee was in Regina Provincial Court this afternoon (Fri), where she was remanded in custody for June 23rd.
Her co-accused, 41-year-old Alphonse Traverse is set to appear in Regina Court on Monday (June 21).
On the morning of June 12, Indian Head RCMP received a complaint of a stolen truck from Manitoba in the Town of Wolseley.
Constable Shelby Patton located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, but while Patton was outside his vehicle, the truck allegedly struck him and the 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The stolen truck was found in a field near the Town of Francis, and two suspects were later arrested.
