Premier Brian Pallister has announced the creation of the 30-million dollar “Healthy Hire Manitoba Program,” to help private sector companies reopen, while encouraging employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Under the program, private employers can apply for up to 50-thousand dollars in funding, to help cover the wages of up to ten new employees, who can attest that they have been, or plan to be vaccinated.
