A man charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with a death in Gilbert Plains, is now awaiting his fate. 41-year-old David Genaille was in Dauphin last week for his three-day trial, where he was remanded in custody for the judge’s decision on July 26th. The investigation began In May of 2019, when Mounties were called to a home in Gilbert Plains on a report of a stabbing. They found a wounded 36-year-old man, who succumbed to his injuries on scene.
