RCMP are warning Western Canadian businesses of high-dollar frauds.

Over the last six months, businesses have been receiving calls to make a large transaction paid with multiple credit cards.

After the company his shipped the product, they are notified that the credits cards were stolen or the true cardholder has reversed the payment.

Businesses are told to be wary of new customers from outside the trading area asking to ship products long distances, often out of province, and purchases with the use of multiple credit cards.
