July’s SGI Traffic Safety spotlight is on speeding in construction zones. The insurance company’s Tyler McMurchy says failing to reduce your speed could be costly, with the fine for going 100 km/h in the 60 zone $1 thousand. He says last year, there were more than 15 hundred convictions for speeding in a work zone.
