One of Two Suspects Charged in Connection to an Attempted Murder Appeared in Court

A court appearance has been made by a man charged in connection to an attempted murder last fall.

In Regina Provincial Court this afternoon (Fri), 24-year-old Austin Severight, of the Yellow Quill First Nation, had his matters adjourned to next Thursday (July 15) in Regina.

He and his co-accused, 25-year-old Jenna Hoffman, of Wadena, face charges including Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, and Robbery, and Hoffman will appear in court July 22nd.

On October 4th, RCMP say the victim met three people outside of a Regina nightclub, and left in a vehicle with them.

The suspects proceeded to beat, torture and rob the victim, before leaving them unconscious in a field, north of Fort Qu’Appelle with serious injuries.
